Victoria Evans is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated with a Masters Degree (Distinction) in Fine Art Practice from Glasgow School of Art in 2015 and she has been awarded a SGSAH Arts and Humanities Research Council studentship to begin practice based PhD research at Edinburgh School of Art in September 2019.

Victoria works across a shifting combination of moving image, sound, sculpture and installation. Her work is engaged with the tension between lived experience and abstraction and exploring ideas of time, location and reality. She is interested in how the apparatuses of measurement and representation influence perception and her work is often inspired by science and philosophy.
